Canandaigua to handle brush, other storm debris for town residents

CANANDAIGUA — Town of Canandaigua residents who were impacted by the storm event over the weekend may bring in their brush and yard debris (branches, brush, leaves, etc.) to the highway facility at 5440 Routes 5 and 20 West in Canandaigua.

Hours today, July 1, run to 4 p.m. Also, residents can bring in debris from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, and 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, July 3.

Only residential brush and yard debris will be accepted. Residents will need to bring and be prepared to show their 2024 yellow transfer station hang tag on arrival.
